Share the Love!
February 14th is Valentine’s Day. Sweethearts will exchange cards and gifts to express their love to one another. School age kids will hand our Valentine notes to their classmates and teachers. And parents, grandparents and other relatives will send notes, texts and make calls to those they love. But those exchanges are, to me, just a small reminder to share the love everyday.
Luckily I get to do that on a daily basis with every monogram I create. A small dose of love goes into each one I make. It’s like a little piece of “happy” goes into creating each monogram. A bit of time, a bit of color, and a tingle of joy with the final result is the recipe for each and every creation.
The icing on the cake is when I see a smile on the face of someone when they see their monogram for the first time. It just multiplies the joy of what I do ten fold.
As strange as it may sound, I look at the bits of love that go into the monograms I make daily little reminders to spread the love. MY daily reminder to be kind, walk humbly and act justly to ALL.
