Let the Holiday Season Begin!
This past Wednesday was the first opportunity of the season I had to be a vendor at a Sip & Shop fundraiser held at a local parish. It was a lovely event co-chaired by two friends. They pulled together a nice selection of vendors and decorated their facility with wonderful warm fall colors & floral arrangements. I was honored to be a part of their event.
I was also EXHAUSTED by the end of the night and still into the next morning. I joked with my bridge friends the next day that I felt like I was out of “show shape” and needed to get myself ready for the rest of the holiday season! It’s amazing how much it takes out of you to be standing & talking non-stop for 4 hours. It’s also part of why I love what I do. I had a chance to see people I don’t cross paths with anymore as well as meet several new people.
So here’s to enjoying all the events we have yet to attend! To the ones that support local schools and non-profits and to all those who organize the food, beverages, vendors and decorations! There is a lot that goes into planning & executing these fun gatherings, so attend with grateful hearts. I am grateful to be a part of them!
